Things are looking good for East Texas. After Thursday's rain, it looks to be a glorious weekend with lots of sunshine and much warmer temperatures than the past week or so. It's almost, almost, going to feel spring-like with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees.

With all that sunshine, get out there and soak up some vitamin D, but watch your exposure because you can still get sunburn even in the middle of winter!

Here soon things will be ramping up with lots more activities coming this Spring, including the 11th annual Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival in Tyler on Saturday, May 10th. Tickets for this BBQ and music festival go on sale Friday, January 31st @ 10 am at Red Dirt BBQ Fest.

Get those tickets, especially VIP tickets, as soon as you can because they will sell out!

Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in East Texas.
