Farmer Wants a Wife stars Matt Warren, Colton Hendricks, Jay Woods, and John Sansone are getting closer to finding love.

Fans have been along for the ride's ups, downs, mega drama — and hopefully, love. The end goal is for each farmer to find his wife.

We are headed into the finale next week, so this week came with meeting the parents. Fans only got to see one family meet up per farm, the rest coming in a part 2 next week.

Overall, the parents were impressed with their daughter's farmers! Naturally, the dads of the girls had some hard-hitting questions, but answers that eased their minds about their daughter potentially ended up with her farmer.

It wasn't completely all smooth sailing. Keeley's mom expressed concerns about Colton's readiness for a relationship, while Colton expressed his uncertainty about really being ready to settle down.

Jordyn's dad shared the importance of her music, something Matt is hesitant about whether that career dream supersedes her willingness to move to the farm.

Episode 8 held the last solo dates of the season, giving an opportunity for deeper vulnerability. That transparency allowed for the farmers to make further elimination decisions.

Farmer Jay let his mom's pick, Rissa, go. Farmer John's Julianna and Farmer Colton's Bailee voluntarily left, while Farmer Matt made the tough decision to have Halleh leave.

Let's do a quick rundown of the previous episodes, because a lot of drama went down:

During Episode 4, Viviane-Lee (Jay Woods' farm) was let go by her farmer, but Rachel (Matt Warren’s farm) actually asked to leave.

Rachel felt like Matt was being untruthful about drama involving another contestant, Halleh, and because of that, she couldn’t trust him. She expressed a desire to find someone she can trust in a relationship, announcing that she would be leaving.

As far as Viviane-Lee leaving Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3, Jay just wasn't feeling it — he didn't feel a romantic connection. The rejection seemed amicable enough, as both shared a goodbye hug as they parted ways.

The biggest shocker came during Episode 5, when Samantha told farmer John Sansone that she could no longer continue to date him. She felt they were too similar, which was actually a negative, not a positive for her.

Samantha's exit from FWAW has been the most controversial topic this season. Many fans felt like she was never truly there to find love, based on the way she would say things. Others loved the drama that she stirred.
