Looks like Jason Aldean's fourth album has gone certified Platinum according to CMT. That means it hit the 1 million mark for copies shipped.

Jason has proved himself to be a heavy hitter in this competitive game called country music and I couldn't be more pleased. I like Jason's "edgy" voice and "go for it" attitude.

He released the album in November, with the title track as its first single. The album's current single is "Don't You Wanna Stay" with pop star Kelly Clarkson. With the platinum certification, Aldean's career sales have reached 5 million. He will launch his 2011 My Kinda Party tour on Friday (Jan. 21) in Little Rock, Ark., with guests Eric Church and the JaneDear Girls.

I think Jason will be around for awhile. What do you think about Jason Aldean's music and longevity?
