This Saturday (July 20) come two-step to the country music sounds of the incomparable Jon Wolfe, and do it for a great cause. Wolfe will be playing Harvey Hall in Tyler for the fundraiser benefit.

Wolf's new project, a five song EP, Feels Like Country Music was released in June. Wolfe said of his latest project, "I can’t tell you how excited I am to get these new tunes to you guys. It’s been a long time coming and there’s been a ton of hard work put into this. I worked with Grammy-nominated producer Dave Brainard on this project and I think we’ve put together something really special!"

This Saturday Wolf will be back in the Rose City to play the Smith County Go Texan Gala, benefiting The Smith County Area Go Texan Committee, a scholarship committee working through Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Bullard Mayor Pam Frederick told us that through the committee they've given out eight $5,000 scholarships and one $20,000 scholarship to Smith County students this year alone. "This event is our only annual fundraiser," she told us. "It’s at Harvey Hall on July 20th. Our tickets include dinner by 1836 Texas Kitchen , drinks, Jon Wolfe live and silent and live auctions."

Jon Wolfe's latest single "Some Ol' Bar in the '90s" is currently making its way up the Texas charts. Be listening for it on the Radio Texas, LIVE! app for Apple or Android.
