LeeAnn Womack and Kacey Musgraves teamed up at the 2014 CMT Music Awards to pay tribute to country legend Alan Jackson.

They began playing 'Livin' On Love,' and from the very first note, Jackson, sitting next to his wife, teared up, blinking back his emotions as the country stars performed (and his wife sweetly sang along).

Womack and Musgraves both strummed acoustic guitars as the full backing band played effortlessly along. On the screen behind the singers, videos of Jackson played, adding an interesting visual element to the stage.

Their vocals were impeccably polished. By themselves, the two country beauties have gorgeous voices, but combined, they sound truly amazing. At the end of the song, Jackson sat clapping and mouthed, "Wow."

Then, he walked onstage and accepted the first-ever CMT Impact Award (with his wife in tow!). "Y'all are very sweet, I appreciate it. That song never sounded better. Of course, I have to thank CMT; they have been behind me for so many years" He paused during the middle, as the crowd cheered loudly.

"Thank y'all so much. You have blessed me; it's been a crazy ride, and I have been so blessed," he finished.
