Sanitation Trucks in Longview will be Artsy

Thanks to a contest involving Longview students in kindergarden through 12th grade, students art work will appear on sanitation trucks.

According to the Longview News Journal, Longview's sanitation division and Keep Longview Beautiful put on the contest and 16 winners were selected.

Each school submitted 10 entries, 300 total. The first winners were revealed Friday.

Entries were judged based on creativity and originality with a recycling theme.

The remaining winners will be revealed through April 8th.
