The Girl from Golden had a Golden Hour last night. Yes, I'm full of puns. Totally worthy puns for a hometown girl who took the spotlight at the CMA Awards last night.

The gag order's off & now it can be told -  Jason Aldean brings his "They Don't Know Tour" into Bossier City's CenturyLink Center October 28th.  Chris Young will be the show's special guest.   Tickets go on sale this Friday morning, but you can win seats at the concert from KNUE every morning this week before they go on sale!

Yesterday afternoon KNUE got word of a big Country show coming to Shreveport in October.  Unfortunately, the promoters put a gag order on us as fast as we got confirmation the concert was set.  We can't reveal who's playing until 8am Monday.  So let's see if you can figure it out with some helpful hints!

It was a sad day for country music, with the passing yesterday of Slim Whitman. Slim Whitman died of heart failure at his home in Florida at the age of 90.
