Longview Habitat for Humanity announces their upcoming Raisin’ the Roof fundraising banquet on Saturday, February, 4th at Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview.  Habitat of Humanity is a non-profit organization that builds homes for families who need help in getting a home of their own.

KNUE is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Smith County on a very special cruise aboard Carnival's newest ship "The Magic" and I've got to say I am definitely glad to be a part of this trip --No, not just because it's a cruise, but also we'll also be helping Habitat for Humanity of Smith County continue in it's mission of "providing low-income working families the hope and tran

So I've been on vacation before, but I have never been on a cruise. I have heard of Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel before too, but never been to any of 'em. And I'm not gonna lie visiting these places over the course of 7 days on a giant boat in February sounds like a good idea to me.

Wanna go on a cruise?  Of course ya do, who doesn't wanna go on a cruise? Now what if I told you we could go on a cruise (for 7 days) and on top of the vaca, help Habitat For Humanity of Smith County at the same time?  You'd say sign me up! So let's go!
