humane society of east texas

I just found out that June is "Adopt a Cat" month! How did I miss this? I have 3 precious cats and one of them I adopted from the Humane Society of East Texas. Let me tell you, they are so fun and precious to me and my family. I believe that we are responsible for all little critters.

WOW! That's all I could say after I read this story. Evidently a woman from New York was reunited with her lost dog, Dusty, after seeing him in a segment about pet adoption on last Friday's "Today Show." Well, that was a short-lived reunion.

This is so sad at first, but keep watching, because the end is great!

You hear about animals that live very long lives. I had a Persian cat that died 2 1/2 months before her 22nd  birthday! Well the oldest dog alive, Pusuke,  has passed away.

This girl is Ivy, a 4 year old pure bred cocker spaniel that is available for adoption from the Humane Society of East Texas in Tyler.  Ivy loves people and other dogs.  She needs lots of love and a new home.  Ivy has been spayed, is current on all her vaccinations including rabies and had been microchipped for identification purposes.
