Keith Whitley has to be one of my favorite country artist. My favorite all-time country song is "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Keith. It was one of the first records that I played on the radio! Johnny Cash has been called one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, and I must agree. Listening to Johnny's music, you sense a touch of sadness, moral tribulation and redemption.

John Michael Montgomery is one of my favorite country artists from the '90s! I remember when "I Swear" came out in 1993, it instantly became the wedding song to have sung at your wedding. (I can remember two weddings at least that I attended that year that had "I Swear" sung by some mediocre wanna-be John Micheal Montgomery!)

Waylon Jennings is one of my all-time favorites in country music. WAYLON: The Music Inside, Volume II is available in stores and on iTunes today.

It's no secret I love country music, especially classic country music. With a nickname like Bocephus, you have to be something special. The son of country legend, Hank Williams Sr., Randall Hank Williams Jr is just that -- special. Born in May of 1949 in Shreveport, La., Hank Jr. is not only a singer-songwriter, but he also plays multiple instruments.
