After a two week hiatus to, I don't know, learn to barrel race, find herself spiritually, and probably record a Harlem Shake video Rita Ballou was back on Radio Texas, LIVE! With her she brought fresh dirt on her "Friends with Benefits" show at SXSW, a Texas Ranger - Texas Music fan, plus her picks at the Lone Star Music Awards.

The 5th Annual Lone Star Music Awards will be held on Sunday, April 28th 2013, at the Texas Music Theater in San Marcos. Voting begins on Friday (March 1st). Ticket information and line up will be coming soon. Here's your nominees.

I realize I am extremely late posting last week's dirt so let's get right into it.  It appears a certain Straggler is now not leaving the band, after posting that he was. JB and The Moonshine Band are going on a 21 city tour with a rapper, there's a new hashtag sweeping the Twitter nation and the finalist for the Lone Star Music Awards have been set and are awaiting your votes -- Rita Ballou joins

Well, now you get to vote some more! The nominees for this year's Lone Star Music Awards have also been announced which we'd of course be talk
