The Next Major Holiday Coming Up On The Calendar Is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday And Celebrations Are Being Planned All Across East Texas.

Today's theme is "Power in the People...Freedom, Equality, and Prosperity". There can be none of these things if we don't start getting our STUFF together-as a community and as a nation.

Oprah helped produce the movie Selma six years ago, and the theme is timeless. It might be a good way to honor the Rev. Dr. King today, on the holiday that marks his legacy.
