Driving three hours for food seems pretty unrealistic to me, but if that restaurant is rated the Number One place to eat in the United States in 2017, I think we can make an exception.

Mmmm, the classic American sandwich has got to be the greatest creation ever. We Americans love our sandwiches. Just visit the different regions throughout the U.S. to see proof of that. It seems each region has a famous sandwich.

Supposedly, the sandwich was first created in the 18th-century, when a servant layered meat between two slices of bread so that John Montagu, the hungry fourth Earl of Sandwich, wouldn't have to leave the table during an intense card game. He certainly made culinary history!
