Each August, we head to the stores to pick up clothes and school supplies during Tax Free Weekend. But this weekend, you can pick up certain emergency supplies tax free.

The weekend for certain school supplies, clothing and other items to be tax free in Texas is coming up soon.

This year's Tax-Free Weekend in Texas will be August 7-9. Shoppers can avoid paying sales tax on school supplies, clothes and footwear for back-to-school.

School is right around the corner and we'll all soon be shopping for new school uniforms, getting everything for the school supply list, new backpacks, shoes and all the other necessities to start off the school year and the time to save a little money is coming up August 8th thru 10th during the State of Texas Tax Free Weekend!
