As another cold snap descends upon Texas Wednesday, lots of folks were caught off guard and unprepared which in turn has lead to overall CHAOS on roads all across the state.
Instead of focusing on the negative, I rather focus on the folks who turned this into a positive and went outside and had FUN or helped a neighbor in need in the midst of potential chaos.
That week of snow and zero degree temperatures in February was an awful time for East Texas. It's possible we could see it again but scaled down a bit.
Some trees around East Texas are still struggling to come back after being in the deep freeze in February, but there's reason to be hopeful that they'll make a full recovery.
The sea turtles were "closely inspected by staff [...and each] received an individualized treatment plan." Watch as they're released into the Gulf of Mexico.
