The Internet Has Gone Crazy For Popeyes Chicken Sandwich

I am not the guy to follow trends, but I must say the internet sparked my curiosity when it came to the latest must have which is the popular chicken sandwich from Popeyes.

The word of mouth about this sandwich is incredible as people described how delicious it is and it gave the other chicken sandwiches from various fast food restaurants a run for their money!

Is this sandwich really worth the hype?  I had to see for myself so I jumped in the car and rolled over to the nearest Popeyes in Tyler (There are only 2) that I know of and when I got there I couldn't believe my eyes.

This can't be for a chicken sandwich...

The line in the drive thru alone told me this sandwich meant business so I decided to go in and order and luckily they had some because they are so popular they have been selling out daily!

I got my sandwich and proceeded to the car and yes....the line was STILL long!

The fries were light work as I took care of those in the car, but now the moment of truth has arrived.

Showtime!

I make it back into the studio and destiny has arrived.  I was having a stare down with this highly talked about chicken sandwich from Popeye's and it was time to see if this is really good as the internet said it was.

I took that first initial bite and I promise you I almost ascended to Heaven.

THIS SANDWICH IS GOOD!

The perfect combination of spices, the sauce, and pickles complimented every bite and I must say it won me over.

It was so good I had to tell my co-worker Michael about it and we went on lunch to get one and the cashier said we had to wait an hour because they had to go to Longview to get more sandwiches because they were SOLD OUT (Insert sad face)!

Nevertheless, if you haven't tried the new chicken sandwich from Popeyes treat yourself and give it a try.

They have a classic version and the spicy version pending on your taste, but I promise you it will be worth it.
