Today is ‘Free Cone Day’ at Dairy Queen

It just makes me think of Forrest Gump. "Lieutenant Dan, I got you some ice cream. Lieutenant Dan, ice cream!"

Today (March 16) is Free Cone Day at participating East Texas Dairy Queens in celebration of the company's 75th anniversary.

To make things even better, the sun is finally out today, so that makes for a perfect opportunity to stop by DQ for a free small cone.

DQ will be accepting donations for Children's Miracle Network today, too, so drop in for a free cone and help out some East Texas kids while you're at it.
