What I am Learning About James Bond [VIDEO]
I just recently became interested in the James Bond films. The boyfriend has always been a fan, and seen nearly all of them at least twice. I'm a newbie, but here's what I've learned.
The next film, Spectre, is expected to lease later this year will be Daniel Craig's fourth turn as 007. Seven actors have portrayed Bond on the silver screen. Sean Connery first appeared in Dr. No in 1962, and continued as Bond until 1969 when George Lazenby made his lone appearance in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Connery returned as Bond in 1971 for the film Diamond's Are Forever. Roger Moore first appeared as Bond in 1973 in Live and Let Die and continued his run through 1985's A View to Kill. Timothy Dalton made two films, The Living Daylights and Liscense to Kill. Pierce Brosnan was the Bond of the nineties, making four films from 1995 through 2002.
Currently James Bond is portrayed by Daniel Craig who will appear in his fourth, the series 24th, film this fall.
So far I've figured out each actor's interpretation of the spy is a little different. Daniel Craig is much more gritty and Roger Moore. I've seen a handful of the films over the last few years, but I'm now creating a plan to watch them in order before Spectre's release in November.
