The 48th annual ACM awards will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7. We've already told you that Blake Shelton will be returning as host, with Luke Bryan helping out. Yesterday, voting began for the first three categories which are New Female Vocalist, New Male Vocalist, and New Duo or Group. We told you who was nominated for New Female Vocalist, now it's time to focus on the men.

Lee Brice

He isn't exactly a newcomer to country music, but 2012 was his biggest yet. With songs like 'Hard to Love' and 'A Woman Like You', Lee made a name for himself. Not to mention he penned Eli Young Band's 2012 ACM Song of the Year 'Crazy Girl'

Brantley Gilbert

After writing a few number one songs for Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert finally broke into the country scene as an artist. With smash hits like 'Country Must Be Country Wide' and 'My Kinda Crazy' it's no wonder he's nominated for New Male Vocalist. Catch him on tour with Tim McGraw this summer.

Hunter Hayes

Hunter Hayes first took the stage with Hank Williams Jr when he was only 5 years old. Now 15 years later he is one of the fastest rising acts in music. He's written every song and playing every instrument on his gold album, and touring with Carrie Underwood, and he's nominated for a few Grammy's. All before he's legally allowed to drink.
