Amber Alert Issued for Abducted Texas Teenager

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old girl who authorities fear may be in immediate danger. The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Inez Ramirez.

She is 5-foot-2, about 130 pounds, has brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes and she was last seen wearing a green shirt, black shorts and flip flops.

Police believe she was abducted by 23-year-old Edgar Barron. He is 5-foot-9, weighs about 145 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. The suspect is driving this red, 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup.

The suspect was last heard from in Red Oak, near Dallas. Anyone who has information about this case or who spots the girl, suspect, or truck should contact local law enforcement.
