23rd Longview Ambucs Fishing Tournament is March 31

It's time fishermen and women for the 23rd annual Longview Ambucs Team Fishing Tournament at Big Cypress Marina on Lake O' The Pines. The tournament is Saturday, March 31 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Who doesn't love the thrill of catching a "big ole hog," right? The fishing tournament is just one community event the non-profit organization puts on to raise money. The Ambucs' mission is simply to create mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

The Ambucs are widely known for developing the AmTryke therapeutic tricycles. The group also builds ramps for those in wheelchairs, and awards physical and occupational scholarships.

All places are  guaranteed for the largest weight of five-fish string and a prize for the biggest bass of the tournament. So don't miss your chance to be apart of great day of fishing!

Pre-register now at Nichols Marine, East Texas Sonar, White Oak Boat & Motor, Alco-Air and Marshall Toyota.  Or register at Big Cypress Marina at Lake O' Pines until 6 p.m. Friday March 3o. After 6 p.m. you can still register at the lake.
