Amy’s Featured Artist of The Week – Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown was raised in Dahlonega, Ga. The former restaurant owner started his music career as a solo artist, but in 2004, he formed the Zac Brown Band with bassist John Hopkins and fiddler Jimmy De Martini; more recent additions are guitarist/organist Coy Bowles and drummer Chris Fryar.
Zac Brown Band’s album ‘You Get What You Give’ was released on September 21st, 2010 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album features guest appearances by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett. The album has become a defining record showcasing the groups talent and musicianship.
