I have some good news and bad news for you.

Researchers at Humboldt University in Germany conducted a study to find out what first names are considered attractive...or better put, do certain names give you images of more attractive or less attractive men or women.

The folks at Humboldt researched 47,000 online dating prospects to determine which names are least or most attractive. Basically, the way this worked was these 47,000 folks were asked to give their reactions to a long list of names...no pictures, no bios, just first names. The main question, which names do you think corresponds to someone who looks attractive.

The names that got the least and the most clicks....

Kevin - the LEAST attractive male name according to this study is Kevin, followed by Justin, Marvin, and Dennis.

The LEAST attractive female names - Mandy...followed by Chantal and Jacqueline.

The MOST attractive male name is...Jacob, followed by Alexander, Max, Peter, and Mark.

The MOST attractive female name is Charlotte, followed by Emma, Hannah, and Marie.
