I absolutely love to watch the Antiques Roadshow on PBS. The show is so interesting and exciting. These people bring in their treasures and then they find out whether their treasures are really treasures! I've been telling myself I probably have something worth some money somewhere in my garage, attic, or back bedroom! Okay, probably not.

You never know until an expert takes a look at your so-called treasure, right? Well on Saturday, May 5, find out!

The Gregg County Historical Museum is hosting its annual Appraisal Fair. Experts will be on hand to give you verbal appraisals on your antiques. The fair is open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Some of the items you can bring: Stoneware, glassware, bottles, firearms, flasks, pottery, estate jewelry, gold, silver, Texana and Americana. Who knows, you could end up having a fortune right under your nose!

Make sure that the items you bring are small enough to be carried into the museum. The appraisal cost is $10 per item, or $25 for three items.

The Gregg Co. Historical Museum is located at 214 N. Fredonia Street, Downtown Longview. For more information call 903-753-5840. Click here for their website.

You might end up having a treasure worth some big bucks like this woman on Antiques Roadshow!
