Buddy Logan

I got into radio when I was about 15, some DJ let me on his show and that was it. After that I spent that last 2 years of high school working, interning and doing random things at KID-FM in Idaho Falls, ID. Yeah, I graduated HS in Idaho. But right after high school I moved to where my true home to be, East Texas. When I finished at Kilgore College I was planning on going on to get my bachelors but for some reason or another decided it was time to do something different. The year was 2002, I was 20 years old and I was joining the Army. I left for basic training in September 2002. The Army wasn't bad, I met a lot of great friends, and got to see some different places. I was stationed in Friedberg Germany, which is where Elvis was stationed during his enlistment, before finishing up at Fort Hood. I spent 2 tours (nearly 29 months) in Iraq, from May '03 through June '04 and October '06 through January '08. I was honorably discharged in April 2008 with the rank of Sergeant and an intimate understanding of how great this country is. After I got out, the very next day I moved back to East Texas. I enrolled at The University of Texas at Tyler and began getting used to and enjoying civilian life. I graduated in May '10 with a BBA in Business Marketing (one of those useful degrees.) This brings us right up to the end of December 2010 when I got back into radio. So come on, you're invited to checkout my show Radio Texas, LIVE! live every Saturday night.

Some Basketball Fans Upset Mexican-American Boy Sang National Anthem [POLL]

Last night's Game 3, of the NBA Finals was a total blowout. The Spurs ran away with the win courtesy of an NBA Finals record 16 three-pointers, en route to a 113-77 victory. When I woke up this morning I was in a good mood, happy with what the Spurs had done to LeBron and Co. But when I saw what people said about a Mexican-American boy singing the National Anthem, my good mood went right out the window.

Bear Hula Hoops, Plays Trumpet + Much More [VIDEO]

This video makes bears seem more approachable than Rin Tin Tin, and more capable than my 13 year-old nephew, Matthew. Watch as this grizzly bear somersaults, claps (or swats flies, I'm not sure) plays the trumpet (while marching in place), and hula-hoops -- all without eating the dude in the video. Yogi ain't got nothing on this guy. You won't believe it, even after you've seen it. But watch it anyways.
