The Immortal Kevin Fitzpatrick was born and raised in New York City, and that doesn't make sense. Kevin wears many hats, including actor, editor, and writer, but never yellow. The best things in life are Back to the Future, beets, Firefly and The Venture Bros. When not picking apart the minutia of pop culture in film and TV, Kevin can usually be found RIGHT BEHIND YOU.

‘Varsity Blues’ TV Series in the Works, Get the Whipped Cream Ready
Somehow, if CMT was going to get into the scripted TV game by rescuing Nashville off ABC, it makes almost too much sense a Varsity Blues TV series would follow. The 1999 Texas football favorite is officially huddling up for a TV reboot, regardless of whether or not you want its life.

Watch ‘The Late Show’ Return Stephen’s ‘Colbert Report’ Persona
Stephen Colbert has been sorely missing from late-night, and we don’t mean the one hosting CBS’ Late Show night after night. Thankfully, The Colbert Report version made a welcome return to a changed political landscape last night, along with none other than former Comedy Central buddy Jon Stewart.
SNL’s Colin Jost and Michael Che Will ‘Weekend Update’ the Conventions
No late-night comedians could easily resist the call of the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, and it looks like SNL will be getting in on the fun as well. Long before Season 42 hits NBC, Colin Jost and Michael Che will bring special editions of Weekend Update to MSNBC for both events.

Sorry, Jessica Lange Won’t Return to ‘American Horror Story’ for Season 6
We’re curiously late in the year, to not yet know the next direction for American Horror Story, last updated to reveal that Lady Gaga’s return wouldn’t necessarily take top billing. Lest you think Jessica Lange could return to the franchise for Season 6 however, the iconic star still sees the franchise as behind her.
