Angeline Lavasseur didn't want to break the time-honored tradition of graduates walking to get their diplomas at graduation.
The 18-year-old girl, who has been confined to a wheelchair throughout her childhood after being born with spina bifida, recently walked across the stage to pick up her diploma at Pinckney High School's graduation in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

A woman in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania gave new meaning to the phrase "sticky fingers" last week after she attempted to withdraw funds from an ATM.
But instead of a pocket full of cash, she wound up with her hand stuck inside the machine.

Country Singer Trace Adkins’ Home Destroyed by Fire
According to the Tennessean, country singer Trace Adkins' Brentwood, TN, home was destroyed by a fire Saturday, claiming "all of his music awards and his family's possessions within minutes."
Initial reports said that the dryer in the garage of the 5,000-square-foot mansion started the fire, though Adkins' wife, Rhonda, said that is highly unlikely, as it hadn't been used in a week.
