The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, and Miranda Lambert will join the star-filled lineup at the 2011 CMA Awards in November, reports The Boot. What a difference a year makes, especially if you’re the Band Perry! Just last year, the trio — individually known as siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry — first attended the CMA Awards to perform their hit song ‘If I Die Young’ and compete for Group of the Year honors. This year, the trio is nominated for five awards, including Single and Song of the Year for ‘If I Die Young.’

“Our mother [Marie] is our good luck charm,” Kimberly Perry told Taste of Country when asked what keeps the siblings together. “She referees. We’re together 24 hours a day, and you can’t stop fireworks sometimes. She cools things down until everyone feels better.”

The Band Perry will also be surrounded by plenty of fireworks — in a positive way — when the other A-list entertainers perform.

Lady Antebellum are two-time winners of the CMA Vocal Group of the Year and will again compete for the honor, this time against the Band Perry, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and the Zac Brown Band. The trio of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelly last year won Single of the Year for their hit ‘Need You Now.’

And who can forget Miranda Lambert’s 27th birthday last year when she won three CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year? This year, she’ll compete for the Award against Underwood, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift and Martina McBride.

The historic news this year, though, might well be around Paisley — the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year — who is nominated for five of this year’s awards, including Entertainer; Male Vocalist; Album for ‘This is Country Music;’ Musical Event, and Music Video for ‘Old Alabama.’ That gives Paisley 57 career nominations. Only George Strait, with 81 nominations and Alan Jackson, with 80, are ahead of him, according to a CMA announcement.

Watch the 2011 CMA Awards live from Nashville on November 9 at 8PM ET on ABC.
