Aside from homecoming, prom is usually the biggest event of the school year. You get to dress up, get all pretty, grab a date, and have a memory filled night with your friends. But it isn’t the venue or your date that is the most important part of prom – it’s the dress. So we thought to help you out we’d give you a list of places in East Texas to find the best prom dresses.

The Glitz in Longview is one of the best places in East Texas to find a prom dress. Their dresses are unique and fun, unlike any other store. If you want to "WOW" your classmates with something they won't expect, this is your place.

Longview/Broadway Square Mall
There are a handful of stores that sell prom and formal dresses at the mall. Dillards, JC Penney, Sears, and more all have a large selection of dresses to choose from. Theirs tend to be a little on the less expensive side as well.
Weddings A-Z
Although the word "wedding" is in the title, Weddings A-Z is much more than a wedding store. The shop has a ton of wedding dresses, sure. But the store is also filled with formal and evening dresses as well.
