Earlier this Tuesday morning, the Gregg County Sheriff's Office enlisted the help of East Texas residents on Facebook to help find a stolen homemade BBQ pit out of Kilgore.

If you look at the pictures posted by the Sheriff's Office, it won't be hard to spot when you come across it. The BBQ pit is described as black in color with double smoke stacks and two tier shelves inside. The Facebook post continues:

The pit also has a wood box located near the hitch, and a rusted fire box located at the rear of the unit. The BBQ pit is made on a double axle trailer with aluminum wheels, with a melted left tail light, and the wiring for lights is not working.

The theft occurred this morning around 1:17 am off FM2276. Shouldn't be too difficult to spot.

If you do find this stolen property, please contact Investigator Brannon with the Gregg County Sheriff's Office at (903) 234-3144 or call Crime Stoppers at (903) 236 - STOP.
