The "Call to Arms" Blood Drive continues today and KNUE along with all of the Townsquare Media radio stations in Tyler-Longview are participating in conjunction with Carter BloodCare to raise the blood supply levels after the holiday season.

Don't starve
Who could forget the news of toys stolen from a warehouse used by the Gregg County Child Welfare board, that were intended to go to local foster children. So sad! But East Texans are not taking this lying down. The Longview Fire department is hosting a toy drive this weekend at Longview Mall Parking Lot from 9AM to 5PM to replace those stolen toys!

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11, and in honor of those who have fought for our freedoms, Workforce Solutions of East Texas in Tyler, is holding a job fair for Veterans on November, 9.
Some East Students are showing their support for our troops. Students from Hubbard Middle School, Bullard High School and Brook Hill School are collecting items for care packages that we be sent to our troops the first week of December.
