Desperate to See Friends, Guy Attempts to Break Into Prison

It is the holiday season and we want to spend time with friends and family, but this guy took it to the extreme.

In Indian River County, Florida, 24-year-old Patrick Rempe tried to break into, that's right into, the county jail so he could see his buddies who were jailed.

Rempe slammed his car into the fence around the prison then tried to scale said fence. He got tangled in the razor wire and was apprehended.

He didn't fully think this through as he would have had to scale another fence then get through a locked door.

Go figure, Patrick Rempe was high on the synthetic drug flakka. He faces charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer, three counts of felony criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and driving under the influence.
