Even as rescue workers continue to battle the wildfires that have raged through Texas throughout September, organizers are putting together a benefit to help pay for some of the more than $250 million worth of damage the fires have left behind.

Scheduled for October 17, ‘Fire Relief: The Concert for Central Texas’ has lined up an impressive array of artists and bands with roots in the Lone Star State, including the Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson, and Lyle Lovett.

Tickets for the show, which will be held at the University of Texas in Austin, go on sale Friday, and will cost between $25 and $250, which would be a bargain even if the lineup only included the three artists mentioned above, but it’s a downright steal considering that attendees will also get to see performances by Asleep at the Wheel, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Shawn Colvin, and the Texas Tornados.

“There is going to be a much longer horizon for this, and our hope is to raise those funds working with community leaders, churches, other nonprofits, the American Red Cross and other folks that are out in those communities to see what we can do to aid them in the long run,” said Austin Community Foundation Chairman-elect Steve Shook.

Texas resident Kyle Chandler, best known for his portrayal of Coach Eric Taylor on NBC’s ‘Friday Night Lights,’ will emcee the event, which is expected to raise over $500,000.
