Pets make life better, after a long day at work there is something amazing about seeing my two dogs Cooper and Gypsy. They are waiting all day long so they can show me and my wife unconditional love as soon as we get home. I’m not sure that we deserve these two dogs, but they definitely make coming home each day a lot of fun. Which is why I wanted to show you a list of 47 dogs that are currently waiting to be adopted in Tyler, Texas.

Here in East Texas, like many places across the United States we deal with way too many stray animals, which is another reason why you should adopt instead of shopping for your next pet. Even if there is a specific breed that you want, often there are rescues dealing with specific breeds, it won’t take much time to connect with one of those groups. For many years I wanted a Boxer dog and after researching Boxer rescues online I met my princess Gypsy who has now been with us for over 8 years.
