A feed store caught fire mid-morning Tuesday, and multiple crews are still trying to battle the blaze.

KLTV reports that a fire at the Valley Feed Mill on Coke Road in Winnsboro forced evacuations in the area as a precaution. Perryville and Winnsboro Fire Departments as well as the Winnsboro Police Department, a Hazmat team and TxDOT are all on scene working to control the blaze.

There are no reports of injures at this time.

The City of Winnsboro reports that the area west of Valley Feed Mill is considered safe, but all others are still under evacuation orders. Coke Road is shut down from Farm-to-Market Road 852 East and Highway 11 until further notice. County Road 4400 is also closed until further notice.

An update from the City of Winnsboro confirmed that ammonium nitrate was involved, and the safest course of action is to let the fire burn itself out. More information was released in a Facebook post:
