Eric Church Welcomes His Son Into The World [VIDEO]

Congratulations to Eric Church and wife Katherine, who welcomed their first child into the world Monday. Their son,  Boone McCoy Church, weighed in at  7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Eric tells  CMT;

"Everybody always tells you what an awesome and unique experience being a parent is," Church said. "Words can never do the feeling justice. I am very thankful and blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy and baby mama."

"It will be interesting to see how this new chapter in our life manifests itself musically," he said. "I've always made music that was representative of real life. Life doesn't get more real than having a newborn at home."

Eric has been on tour promoting his latest album, Chief, but plans to slow down his concert schedule for the rest of the year. I bet so.
