"Growing Pains" star Kirk Cameron, has  sparked a lot of backlash online and over the airwaves for comments he made to CNN's Piers Morgan over the weekend concerning  gay marriage. Of course, most of you know that Kirk is a devout Christian, but is this taking things too far?

Even his on-screen family has spoken up against Cameron. This morning, Cameron's on-screen sister Tracy Gold, has spoken her piece, saying she believes in equal rights. Alan Thicke, who played Cameron's father on "Growing Pains," has condemned him for what he calls, "hateful remarks."

Over the weekend, stars including George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Jane Lynch reacted as one to the former teen idol's homophobic remarks, condemning his comments that homosexuality was "unnatural" and gay marriage is "detrimental" to society.

Now keep in mind, Piers Morgan did ask Kirk what his thoughts were on gay marriage and homosexuality and Cameron spoke his opinion. So the question is, does Kirk Cameron have a right to his opinion as do homosexuals? Check out the poll below and give us your thoughts.
