For all of you hard-working listeners who may be working on the biggest night of country music,  you can still catch it live on KNUE. The 47th Annual CMA Awards show is Wednesday, Nov. 6, and KNUE will be airing the show live.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will again do the honors and host the show. Two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Taylor Swift will take the stage with Vince Gill and Alison Krauss. Other collaborations include CMA Awards nominees Zac Brown Band performing with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, and  reigning CMA New Artist of the Year Hunter Hayes performing with Jason Mraz.

East Texas will be well-represented with nominees Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves. Both of the ladies are nominated for Single of the Year -- Miranda for "Mama's Broken Heart" (written by Kacey Musgraves) and Kacey for "Merry Go Round."

Kacey is also nominated for Album of the Year for "Same Trailer Different Park," Song of the Year for "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Merry Go Round." Kacey is also in the running for New Artist of the Year and both women, Kacey and Miranda, are nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.

That's what I call East Texas AND girl power! So, no worries if you can't watch the show, cause you can listen to it live on KNUE, either on your radio or right here on our website.

KNUE will even air the "CMA Awards Preview Special" hosted by Little Big Town, this Sunday, Nov. 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. The preview show will feature your favorite country artists and music.
