2012 brought a lot of great new artists, and one of those is the duo, Florida Georgia Line. The duo gets it's name from the states each artist is from. One half of the duo is Tyler Hubbard is from Monroe, Georgia and the second half is Brian Kelley from Ormond Beach, Florida’s. Theses guys came on the country scene strong and has made quite an impression with their music and showmanship. The guys have placed with some of the biggest country stars in the biz like;  Blake Shelton, Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert and Colt Ford, and they ended landed a sweet spot on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour with headliners, Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, and Justin Moore.

If you don't recognize the name of the duo, you'll definitely know their huge single - "Cruise".

The guys met when they were attending Nashville’s Belmont University. They played local clubs and wrote songs between classes. The duo has a special sound that mixes country,  rock and little influence from hip-hop. Whatever you call their sound, it works!
