Country music singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to a New York hospital after sustaining a head injury while filming on the set of "The Good Wife" on Wednesday, according to a report from TMZ.

TMZ reports a strong gust of wind knocked a piece of lighting equipment loose, and it struck Chenoweth in the head. She fell and hit her head on the ground and was reportedly knocked out for a short period of time.

A witness told the website Chenoweth was "knocked out cold," and even went as far as to say, "I thought she was dead at first."

Chenoweth was treated on the set, fitted with a neck brace and taken by ambulance to a Brooklyn, N.Y., hospital.

TMZ has photos of the Oklahoma native being treated after the accident. See them all here.

We wish Kristin a speedy recovery.
