Longview ISD will be spending nearly $3 million dollars on renovations to the athletic complex at Longview High School. The board of trustees unanimously approved the measure that would see improvements to Lobo Stadium and to both the baseball and softball fields.

According to the Longview News Journal, LISD's general fund will be paying for the overhaul and Adam Holland, the district spokesperson says the overhaul will include the following projects along with others:

- Lobo Stadium will get new restrooms on the visitors side and renovations to the home side
- new sidewalks and paving to accommodate handicap access
- renovations to concession stand
- a new dugout on the girls softball field

The board is also considering a new score board for the baseball field along with other stadium improvements too.
