Longhorns Make If Official- Charlie Strong’s Out

Yesterday's 31-9 thrashing by TCU puts the wrap on Coach Strong's 3 seasons at the helm of Texas' football program. 

Rumors had been flying all this week, & Athletic Director Mike Perrin made the formal announcement Saturday morning.  Charlie Strong's final record as Longhorns head coach is 16-21, with 7 losses each year.  The mark goes down in Texas history as the worst for a 3-year period.  Houston Cougars' coach Tom Herman is expected to be named as the new head coach for the Longhorns sometime this weekend.
