Longview Freedom Celebration

The City of Longview's "Freedom Celebration" is coming July 4th to the Maude Cobb Convention Center.

This year will feature inflatables, a waterslide, a foam play area, a water balloon fight field as well as weiner dog races and a puppy fashion show. Kids can show off their fancy duds at a kids fashion show.

Performing will be the Hall Brothers, Big D and Bubba favorites Walker McGuire and headliners Asleep at the Wheel.

The festival begins at 11 a.m. with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

The festival is free but some activities may charge a fee.
