Man Chokes Woman in a Wheelchair for Eating Last Piece of Chicken

Clifford Smith, 44, was arrested last Sunday for allegedly attacking a woman after she ate the last piece of chicken at a dinner. According to authorities, Smith became extremely upset after the woman, who also was wheelchair-bound, ate the last piece of chicken.Several people were in attendance at the dinner where the incident took place in Pacolet, S.C. According to reports, after Smith yelled that he wanted the last piece of chicken, he hit the woman, smashed a beer bottle against the wall, then proceeded to choke her.

The woman attempted to call 911, but Smith took her cell phone and smashed it.

Authorities have charged Smith with assault and vandalism.
