Country superstar Miranda Lambert made history at the 2018 ACM Awards on Sunday evening (April 15): Her win in the category of Song of the Year, for her song "Tin Man," which Lambert debuted at last year's ACM Awards ceremony, is the star's 30th ACM win, making Lambert the most-awarded artist in the history of the ceremony.

Lambert received a second ACMs trophy in the Song of the Year category -- one as a songwriter, one as the artist -- bringing her record-setting total to 31 ACM Awards. She'd then break, and re-set, her record later in the ceremony, with a Female Vocalist of the Year win.

Before her 2018 win, Lambert was tied for the title of most-awarded performer at the ACM Awards with Brooks & Dunn, who have 29 awards to their name. Even before Sunday evening, though, she held the awards show's record for the solo act with the greatest number of wins.

Headed into the 2018 ACM Awards, Lambert had already won the category of Female Vocalist of the Year more times than any other artist, so this year's "W" prolongs that streak once again. She was also the first recipient of the ACM Merle Haggard Spirit Award in 2016.

Lambert's most recent album, The Weight of These Wings, came out in November of 2016. The double album centers around themes of heartbreak, loss and moving on toward new love -- all personal topics for Lambert, who wrote many of the songs in the midst of her very public 2015 divorce from Blake Shelton.
