One of the Oldest Dance Halls in Texas is for Sale on Ebay
If you're looking to get into the dance hall business, this could be a great purchase for you.
It later became a destination for acts like Asleep at the Wheel and Bob Wills and modern acts like Roger Creager and Stoney LaRue. In between, you can get a flavor of German and polka music.
The current owner, Donna Ustynik, bought the dance hall in 2005, which had been closed for 25 years. After a year of renovations, they opened the dance hall. A year later, the restaurant was opened.
The Ustynik family is hoping that a "Texas, music-minded buyer to preserve this classic piece of music history and help entertain thousands of dancers for another 100+ years" will make the purchase.
As of this writing, the current bid is up to $99,500 which will include the dance hall, cafe and two acres of land. There is a unspecified reserve but the current bid does not match it.
You can see the listing on Ebay.
