Rodney Carrington in Longview on Thursday with KNUE

It's always great when a star from East Texas comes home to entertain the family. I'm so looking forward to seeing and meeting Longview native Rodney Carrington on Thursday at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview. Rodney's  "Laughter's Good" tour is full of music, comedy and just plain fun. Rodney is a multi-talented comedian, actor and writer who has recorded eight major record label comedy albums, selling more than 3 million copies. He also co- wrote and co-starred the movie "Beer For My Horses" with Toby Keith in 2008.

The Rodney Carrington Foundation has received recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization and is actively evaluating opportunities to support several local and national charities through ongoing events.
