Rosanne Cash is set to release her first album since 2014 this fall. She Remembers Everything is a nod to the turbulence of recent years, politically and socially speaking. It's all combined to create an album that Cash says time and circumstances have formed.

“There is a woman’s real life, complex experiences and layered understanding in these songs,” Cash says in a press release. “I could not have written them 10 years ago — not even close. Time is shorter, I have more to say.”

The artist delivers her message in clear terms with her trademark emotion and fearless lyrics throughout the new album. Read on to learn everything you need to know about the 14th studio album from the legendary artist.

The Songs

Cash is joined on her upcoming album by music legends including Elvis Costello, Kris Kristofferson, Colin Meloy and Sam Phillips. Readers can see a full track listing below.

When announcing She Remembers Everything, Cash shared two songs: the album's title track and "Everyone But Me," a beautiful, haunting ballad in which Cash explores the loss of loved ones, including her parents. "She Remembers Everything," meanwhile, is a gritty, pain-filled song with overtones of Cash's bluesy folk-rock style.
