Daughtry has done it, so has previous Idol contestants David Cook, Ruben Studdard and Carrie Underwood – they have all sang the exit song (or vote off song) for American Idol.  Now it’s Scotty McCreery’s turn!  The current reigning champ of American Idol has recorded an updated version of “Please Remember Me”.

The song will play at the end of the American Idol contestant’s journey at the conclusion of the results show.

This particular song has been sung be great country stars like Tim McGraw and the legendary Garth Brooks.  Look for Scotty McCreery’s version on iTunes.
