American Idol – Lady Gaga Gives Advice To The Final Four

American Idol was smokin' last night with every contestant leaving it all on the stage! This is some of the best competition in years. Lady Gaga was the contestants 'mentor' on the show, and she gave the final four her advice and suggestions. She gave  Scotty McCreery some pretty straight froward advise,  enough to make the country crooner blush a little. But I have to hand it to Gaga, she did bring out the best performances from all 4  contestants.

The Top 4 had to sing 2 songs last night. The judges were in agreement that  they all did a great job, but Haley Reinhart's second performance was the best of the night! Jennifer Lopez even referred to Haley's performance as the 'best of the season!'

Who is going home? I think they all deserve to win!

Enjoy the recap video of the performances from the Top 4, after the jump.

Fox Cancels ‘Lie to Me,’ ‘Human Target,’ ‘Breaking In,’ ‘The Chicago Code,’ ‘Traffic Light’

Fox delivered a slew of bad news to TV fans late Tuesday evening.

The network officially canceled five of its series, among them 'Lie to Me' (pictured) and 'Human Target.' Both 'Lie' and 'Target' - which lasted three and two seasons, respectively - averaged just 7.6 million viewers this season, according to EW.com.

American Idol Recap: Who Will Get The Boot

It's down to the Top 5 on American Idol and the competition is stiff! Personally I've been a little worried about our country crooner, Scott McCreery the last few weeks, but he has never sounded better! He knocked it out of the park. As judge Randy Jackson said 'He's in it to win it!' Scott also brought his performance level up and ditched the quirky stance and microphone grip that has plagued him in the past. Hats off to Scotty! I'm afraid that Jacob Lusk will be eliminated tonight. What did you guys think? Check out the recap video after the jump.

American Idol Fans Say Goodbye To Casey Abrams

Last night was the end of the road for the 20-year-old bassist/singer, who had  been saved by the judges five weeks ago. Casey Abrams was a firecracker,  a musician first and foremost who introduced many to his love of jazz and blues. He was seen as  an 'odd duck' for the Idol competition, but I thinks that was the attraction. I hated to see Casey Abrams leave American Idol Last Night. Casey brought so much 'character' to the show with his spot on performances. Still standing -  Scott McCreery, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk and Hailey Rinehart. Get more scoop after the jump.

American Idol – Who Will Survive Carole King Week

American Idol was all about Carole King songs. The contestants had big shoes to fill, and most of them filled those shoes to a 'tee.' Country Crooner, Scott McCreery, came back from a bad week last week, but did he do enough to stay? Rocker James Durbin showed his softer side with 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow." Proving he can be bold and tender. The judges praised country cutie, Lauren Alaina. Lauren keeps improving every week and she really shined last night by singing 'Where You Lead.' Casey Abrams, who always challenges himself, chose to sing, 'Hi De Ho.' Casey knocked it out of the park!

Who will be eliminated? Will it be your favorite? Hopefully not!

Check out the American Idol video after the after the jump.

American Idol – Carole King Week

Carole King Week starts tonight on American Idol! This should be very interesting. Choosing the right song is key to Idol success, right up there with giving a perfect performance. Contestants can go wrong picking a song too closely identified with a previous Idol, too old or unfamiliar, too worn-out or just plain wrong for their voices. Could this be a rough week for country crooner Scott McCreery? Read on after the jump.
